Redefining What it Means to Meet at Interlaken Resort & Conference Center

Meetings. The word alone can stir up connotations of pen tapping, endless agendas, and clock checking. For many in today’s fast-paced workforce, company meetings have become less of a place to gather and collaborate and more of a place to escape.

You won’t, however, want to escape a meeting at Interlaken Resort & Conference Center in Lakeville, Connecticut. Offering a bevy of morale-boosting programs, team-building activities, and beautiful conference rooms, the last thing you’ll want to do is leave this meeting oasis.

The resort’s unique team-building programs span a wide variety of interests and, regardless of your physical condition, age, or gender, you’re sure to have a rewarding experience.

“Our programs provide our meeting clients with a sense of satisfaction that they’ve accomplished their goals on time and under budget,” Director of Sales & Marketing Dan Bolognani said. “Team building programs should be exciting, bonding, and effective.”

And, exciting they are. For $50 to $75 per person, choose from one of six on-site programs, each typically lasting two to four hours.

Go for the gold during Team Olympics, cook up a storm during a Culinary Challenge, build a vessel worthy of water during a Raft Expedition, create creative concoctions during a mixology session, build relationships during a Radical Race, or soar to new heights during a Quest for Team Adventure. Even help give back to your community by incorporating your favorite organization or charity into one of the programs.

However, the camaraderie doesn’t stop there. Thrilling off-site options include an Indian Mountain Adventure High Ropes Course, Endurance Karting at Lime Rock Park, spelunking, a ropes and zip line course at Catamount Adventure Park, and wine tasting at Millbrook Vineyards.

But, Interlaken’s programs aren’t its only appeal. The resort’s sprawling, quiet, and conveniently located 30-acre Housatonic River Valley campus is an attraction in itself and the ideal place to roll up your sleeves.

“Our corporate clients choose Interlaken because of our location,” Bolognani said. “We’re located just two hours from Manhattan and three hours from Boston, but in a unique country setting.”

That unique country setting includes meeting rooms with space for up to 125 guests, experienced support teams and meeting planners, upscale lodging options, shuttle service, delicious executive-level dining, not to mention sculpture gardens and a beautiful lakefront.

Bring your team together at Interlaken Resort & Conference Center, and you’ll have a new definition of what it means to meet.
