Harvest More Than Water Fun This Autumn at Wisconsin Dells

Photograph by Quinn Dombrowski, Flickr

As the outdoor waterslides run dry and drenched thrill seekers are relegated to indoor waterparks, a significant change is coming to Wisconsin Dells. The leaves fall where water once flowed and everyone is gearing up for a new brand of fun: The Wisconsin Dells Autumn Harvest Fest. Accommodations, attractions, restaurants, and shops are packed into bushels of fun like leaves into yard bags (if the leaves had a much brighter future than where we know they’re going). Visit during this crispy festival to see why the waterpark capital of the world is anything but a one trick pony.

There is so much to do and see at Autumn Harvest Fest. Dells On Tap is a premier microbrew tasting, inviting microbreweries of Wisconsin to show off their best golden nectar. Don’t miss delicious confections from breweries like Ale Asylum, Capital Brewery, and Leinenkugel's, among many, many more. Head over to the Arts & Crafts Marketplace and get your creative on. Up to 115 vendors produce a vast array of handcrafted arts and crafts to admire and purchase.

Don’t miss your Fall Favorite Recipe, created by Hard Rock Café using Potosi Brewery's Cave Ale, 2010’s Dells On Tap winner as a key ingredient. Cook it yourself, or stop by the café and have it delivered to your table in sumptuous splendor. Come for the beer, face painting, caricatures, or hayrides. Come for the pumpkin decorating, petting zoo, or the scarecrow stuffing contest. Just make sure you come to the Wisconsin Dells for the biggest blast of autumn fun you’re likely to have in the Midwest.
