As the leaves begin to change from vibrant shades of green to golden yellows, oranges, and reds, Country Junction, “The World’s Largest General Store,” is busy preparing for the ultimate Poconos fall event. It’s the largest pumpkin festival in the Pocono Mountains, and each year, it continues to top the last. The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival features all the fun of a fall festival with treasure hunting, a corn maze, a 3D Adventure, Pirate Ship and Bounce Island, and so much more.

  • Every Saturday and Sunday from September 28-October 27 (including Columbus Day, October 14) 11a.m.-6p.m.
  • Fright Night is October 4-November 2
  • Admission is free (fees apply for some activities)
  • Lehighton, Pennsylvania

A family favorite of the pumpkin festival is The Best Family Fun Hayride. Ride along behind the tractor to experience the Pennsylvania country life. Atop your hay bale, view the golden corn stalks as you chug along to each fun adventure. First stop is the Treasure Island and Magic Garden. Dig amongst the skeletons for the buried treasure. Then, get lost in the corn maze before making your way to the Bird Sanctuary and Bunny Cottage. Finally, find yourself marveling over the Enchanted Forest.

From the paintball, gourd slinging, and amusement rides, there’s fun for the whole family at The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival.
